The Meitai (also known as Asian Baby Carrier) Slings are versatile, comfortable and easy to use. Baby can be worn from very small on your front, and once older and bigger carried on your back.
These slings hold baby in a well supported position, which is great for their spinal development. Their legs and hips are well supported, no legs dangling from the crotch, or pressure on the genitals - YAY!
The sling is adjustable for whoever is wearing the baby, and whatever the size of the baby, as it does up with ties.
There are several fabric choices available, backed in black or natural.
The Meitai Slings are made locally by another WAHM (work at home mum) here in the Hutt Valley.
It is also possible to get your sling in plain colours - black/black, natural/black or natural/natural - just let us know - these would be made to order and may take a few days longer.
There are lots of happy slinging babies and these are heading out the door almost as fast as they can be made. They are being made to order at present and take about a week from order til posting. We are slowly building up stock again at the moment. I have a black flowers on white ready to go now, and the stars and cow print are being made. If you have a different choice, that would of course jump the queue! Let us know your fabric choice, and we'll get your sling under production.
