I bought the Ergo for using with my 6 month old son as my Maya Wrap sling just wasnt comfortable for long distances or doing things like hanging out clothes/housework. He is a long and heavy baby and so the Ergo works well with distributing his weight onto my hips rather than my shoulders. Once I had practised moving him from my hip to the back carry I could get him to that position as fast as putting him in my sling. I bought the cranberry Ergo which is a great colour and the inside lining is really cute too.
